On Saturday October 7th Port Tampa Bay will host the Naval Commissioning of the USS Jack H. Lucas Warship. The commissioning ceremony is quite a significant milestone in the life of a U.S. Navy ship. Kicking off today, there will be a weeklong event of festivities for the ship’s crew, the U.S. Navy, and Tampa’s Downtown community.
