Tampa’s Downtown is divided into seven distinct neighborhoods with their own unique identities. The Tampa Downtown Partnership holds quarterly and monthly events that are specific to each neighborhood, that showcase their defining qualities

Rhythm & Hues: An Alleyway Art Show

Rhythm and Hues is a quarterly program that pops up in the alleyway off of Franklin and Henderson to service the Tampa Heights neighborhood in Tampa’s Downtown. Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of creativity as you wander through this unique event. Witness the alleyway come to life with an explosion of color, rhythm, and artistic expression as talented local artists showcase their mesmerizing work. 

Channel District Date Nights

The Channel District Date Nights is a quarterly program that  services the Channel District  neighborhood of Tampa’s Downtown to provide unique date night opportunities. Whether it is with a spouse, partner, or friend we invite the residents to join us for “how to” classes in Washington Street Park.

Keys in the Park: A Melodic Duel

Keys in the Park is a quarterly program that takes place at The Square in Lykes Gas Light Park to service the River Arts neighborhood in Tampa’s Downtown. Join us for an unforgettable evening of musical magic! Experience the thrill of dueling pianos as talented musicians go head-to-head playing your favorite songs. So grab a blanket, bring your friends and family, and immerse yourself in an evening filled with laughter, creativity, and the joy of live music.

Blind Date with a Book

Blind Date with a Book is a quarterly program that pops up in Snow Park to service the West Riverfront neighborhood of Tampa’s Downtown with an opportunity to explore novels and poems in a shared-read setting. 

Central Park Eats: A Food Truck Rally

Central Park Eats is a monthly food truck rally that services the Central Park neighborhood of Tampa’s Downtown by providing an opportunity for the residents to gather and support local four-wheel businesses! This event also features additional activations, such as music and other family-friendly activities.

Paw-Fee Break

Paw-Fee Break is a monthly program designed to cater to those that live and work within the Channel District neighborhood of Tampa’s Downtown with an opportunity to take a break from the stress of their desk, walk their dogs, or stretch their legs.

Downtown's Backyard Market

Downtown’s Backyard Market at Tampa City Center’s Esplanade is a monthly program that pops up in the Downtown Core a neighborhood of Tampa’s Downtown. Discover a hidden oasis of farm-fresh goodness, right in the heart of the Downtown Core. Downtown’s Backyard Market is your go-to destination for a taste of the countryside, conveniently located in the hustle and bustle of the city. Stroll through our vibrant market, where the aroma of freshly picked produce and the chatter of eager shoppers fill the air.

Fitness in the Park

Tampa Downtown Partnership hosts free weekly fitness classes every Monday through Thursday in Downtown’s Curtis Hixon  Waterfront Park.

 

Monday: Rumble Boxing in the Park at 6:00pm

Tuesday: Zumba in the Park at 6:00pm

Wednesday: Barre in the Park at 6:00pm

Thursday: Pilates in the Park at 6:00pm

New Yaargh’s Eve Booty Drop

The Tampa Downtown Partnership and City of Tampa ring in the New Year with the 2nd annual New Yarrgh’s Eve Booty Drop at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. This free, family-friendly event features live entertainment, food and drinks, and a signature “booty drop” countdown to midnight. See the iconic Rivergate Tower come to life with a 3-D mapped, 320ft tall projection of a treasure chest being lowered on the side of the building. Admission is free and the entire family is welcome, including four-legged members. Grab ye krewe and join us for this one-of-a-kind signature event!
