Parking in Downtown Tampa
With more than 22,000 parking spaces, there’s always somewhere to park in Downtown Tampa! There are thousands of spaces in convenient garages close to businesses, attractions, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.

Don’t forget you can park on the perimeter to save money and add built-in daily exercise. Or take advantage of the Downtowner free ride service, In-Towner Trolley, Streetcar or Coast bikeshare to get to your final destination.
The City of Tampa Parking Division offers a monthly on-street meter parking permit program. For only $27/month, patrons can park at one of the meters anywhere within the Zone during the workweek. On Street Parking
Downtown has more than 1,600 on-street parking spaces. North of Kennedy Blvd. is free on weekends and weeknights after 6pm. Between Whiting and Kennedy, parking meters are enforced Monday – Saturday 8am-8pm and Sunday 1 pm-8pm. Between Garrison Channel and Whiting, parking meters are enforced Monday – Saturday 8am until midnight. Rates vary. Click here for more details.
All public parking garages have hourly parking available. Rates vary, but all are cheaper than getting an expired meter ticket.
