Bicycle Friendly Business is a certification program for companies that demonstrate commitment to promoting and supporting cycling. This national program is administered through the League of American Cyclists and brought to you by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, the City of Tampa, the Florida Department of Transportation, and Pedal Power Promoters. Tampa is #1 in the state and Top 10 nationally!
In 2016, the City of Tampa was nationally recognized as a Bicycle Friendly Community. It was ranked as one of the Top 50 Best Biking Cities by Bicycling Magazine. Further, PeopleForBikes named the Cass St. Green Spine separated path among the 10 best new bike lanes in the nation.
There are numerous Tampa cycling lanes, bike trails, bike racks and shower/locker facilities scattered throughout the downtown area. A map of Hillsborough County trails can be found here.
Check out the shaded Selmon Greenway connection with a stroll along the fabulous Tampa Riverwalk. Be sure to lock your bike and always wear a helmet. All buses and trolleys are equipped to carry along 2 bikes.

Guest Tour Guides help bring the theme alive and local businesses are highlighted along the way. Walk season runs October – May the 1st and 3rd Friday from 12-1pm.
