Tampa Downtown Partnership
Announces Board Leadership for 2023-24

TAMPA, FL (June 27, 2023) – As Downtown is growing, seven distinct neighborhoods have emerged and the nonprofit that works to make Tampa’s Downtown an inviting place to live, work, and play is celebrating its 37th year. The Tampa Downtown Partnership has named its new board chairwoman, Jin Liu, and leadership for the upcoming year.

“Over the course of the year, the Tampa Downtown Partnership has been dedicated to enhancing the vibrancy and activation of Tampa’s Downtown. As Downtown Tampa dashes into the future, we’re seeing the buzz from people who live, work, play and learn here and it adds up to make the heart of our city one of the most energetic in America,” said Shaun Drinkard, Interim President of the Tampa Downtown Partnership.

The number of event opportunities and locations continue to increase, with new parks and public spaces opening each year. “Downtown’s different neighborhoods are all seeing new investment, new residents, and new places to have fun. This is a pivotal time for our city, when we can all work together to shape the path this growth will take,” said Liu.

Liu and her fellow officers were announced Tuesday at the Tampa Downtown Partnership’s 37th Annual Meeting, presented by IKE Smart City + Orange Barrel Media. Liu is a shareholder with Carlton Fields, where she chairs the firm’s Development Industry Group. Liu was recently elected as a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and named a BusinessWoman of the Year honoree by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
