Make your voice heard to be sure Tampa is included in a new Amtrak service

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is conducting an Amtrak Daily Long-Distance Service Study to evaluate the restoration of daily long-distance inter-city rail passenger service and the potential for new Amtrak long-distance routes. According to an FRA study, a future Chicago-Florida Amtrak service would bypass Tampa.

Downtown’s Tampa Union Station is the second busiest Amtrak station in Florida, and the City of Tampa and Friends of Tampa Union Station have recently invested millions in renovations.

View the study and make your voice heard to help ensure that Downtown’s residents and visitors have better access to long-distance public transportation resources.
