We’re excited to continue providing Downtown’s neighborhoods with their own unique programs! Over the next two weeks, we’ll be holding several events that you won’t want to miss starting with our Paw-Fee Break event tomorrow in Washington Street Park from 10:30am – 1:00pm.
This Wednesday from 5:00pm – 8:00pm we will be holding a Clean & Safe Job Fair at 1415 N Ashley Street. We are looking to hire:
Attendees will receive a brief presentation about the Partnership and our Clean & Safe Programs. Those who participate can interview on the spot or take an application on their way out!
NOTE: Interested applicants should bring their driver’s license and social security card with them in the event that they’re offered a position.
Tampa Fire Rescue announced the addition of “multiple new, state-of-the-art emergency response vehicles” being added to their fleet! This upgrade includes several new fire engines, three new rescue cars, and two new “Ambu-buses” that are all equipped with the latest technology. Tampa Fire Rescue’s headquarters is located in Central Park, which means that this upgrade is pivotal to Downtown’s public safety!

The Tampa Downtown Partnership’s Storefront and Sidewalk Cafe Grant Program serves to create a more attractive pedestrian atmosphere with a commercially vibrant environment through street level storefront improvements and inviting sidewalk cafe settings. The program offers grants of up to $5,000 administered on a reimbursement basis within a two-year time period.

Downtown Tampa’s largest egg hunt will be bringing fun-filled spring activities to Julian B. Lane Park on Saturday, March 30, from 9:00am – 1:00pm! Adults and kids of all ages can enjoy several family-friendly games, delicious food from local food trucks, photos with the Easter bunny, and an egg scavenger hunt where participants will find a combination of eggs based on their age group and redeem them for a prize!
