Attention Tampa’s Downtown, this Saturday, February 10 there will be temporary road and sidewalk closures that will greatly affect Downtown’s Channel District and Downtown Core from 6:00am – 10:00am.
The Downtown Neighborhood Enhancement Grant is an initiative centered around the growth and betterment of the neighborhoods in Tampa’s Downtown. This program offers annual grants of up to $5,000 to each of Downtown’s seven neighborhoods, and is intended to fund free and accessible community-driven projects. As Downtown continues to evolve, Water Street has completely reimagined what was once a simple business district into a lively and walkable oasis with many local businesses and leisure activities. It is also the first neighborhood in North American to receive WELL Community Certification from the International WELL Building Institute for it’s focus on health and well-being.
Downtown Tampa’s largest egg hunt will be bringing fun-filled spring activities to Julian B. Lane Park on Saturday, March 30, from 9:00am – 1:00pm! Adults and kids of all ages can enjoy several family-friendly games, delicious food from local food trucks, photos with the Easter bunny, and an egg scavenger hunt where participants will find a combination of eggs based on their age group and redeem them for a prize!
