Last Friday, crews painted a bright mural called River Arts Crossing on the roadway where Riverwalk users cross Cass Street. The art features what Shaun Drinkard, Interim President of the Tampa Downtown Partnership, calls “directions in disguise” — including triangles that look like arrows within the painting “that will help everyone know they’re still on the right path.”

Downtown Tampa’s newest café quietly opened its doors last month at 507 N. Tampa St., just a few blocks from Curtis Hixon Park. Little Tina’s signature drinks include a honey lavender latte and a Cuban-style americano, alongside an expected spread of other espresso-based drinks and teas.
It’s now open from 8am- 4pm Monday through Thursday and 8am- 2pm on Fridays. The café is set to announce its cocktail menu and newly-added food items sometime soon.

Last Friday, Partnership staff participated in Port Tampa Bay’s 3rd Annual Great Port Cleanup. The cleanup in Tampa’s Downtown resulted in thousands of tons of trash being picked up along our community’s waterways.
A technology company that focuses on primary ticketing and experiences is planting a flag in Downtown Tampa. Vivenu, which has offices in Düsseldorf and Darmstadt, Germany, has opened its U.S. headquarters location in a 700-square-foot place at WeWork Place.
Calling all small business owners! The application for the 2023 Shops of Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park is now open. These pop-up shops are an excellent way for makers and entrepreneurs to be a part of Tampa’s Downtown retail market. Applications are due on May 31st.

LD&D has acquired a 2-acre site in Tampa, Florida, which will be the site of a new $200 million mixed-use development. Situated at 1101 East Harrison St., the land was purchased for $10 million from the Tampa Housing Authority.
