Come out and experience the cozy atmosphere of Central Park, enjoy delicious food, and take part in fun activities! This month, we will start our partnership with Instruments4Life, a non-profit children’s music program whose mission is to empower youth via music education and mentorship. Be sure to come out and learn about the new program while you enjoy delicious food from local food-truck vendors.
On Friday, our quarterly alleyway art show, Rhythm & Hues: An Alleyway Art Show, returns to Downtown’s Tampa Heights neighborhood from 6:00pm – 9:00pm! Head to the alleyway adjacent of Franklin St. and Henderson St. to immerse yourself in a plethora of artistic mediums from poetry, painting, comedy, and more!

April is Physical Wellness Month, and Tampa’s Downtown is the perfect place to get up and get active! This month, get outside for our FREE Community Fitness in the Park classes offered five days a week in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park at 6:00pm!

The Florida Orchestra and Henry B. Plant Museum are bringing an Instrument Petting Zoo to Tampa’s Downtown! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play the violin or trumpet? Children and adults will be able to explore their existing or forgotten musical interests with an program that allows participants to examine, experience, and play a variety of instruments with the help of the Florida Orchestra staff members.
NOTE: This event is FREE and open to ages five and up!
