After participating in a three-week intensive theater camp, Patel Conservatory students ages 8 to 14 will perform this junior adaptation of the Tony® Award-winning musical, Annie. While studying in camp preparing for their stage roles, students explored character development and gained ensemble experience, bringing the memorable music and characters of this beloved classic to life on the stage. ADA Celebration – Transformations: Building a World of Access and Inclusion

Straz Center’s Riverwalk Tent

The Straz Center, in collaboration with the Hillsborough County Alliance for Citizens with Disabilities and Tampa Mayor’s Alliance for Persons with Disabilities, is thrilled to present this show as part of the Tampa Bay area’s 29th anniversary celebration of the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act legislation. Sips Under the Sea

The Florida Aquarium

This unique cocktail after-hours party is designed for adults of legal drinking age. Sword of Trust (2019)

Cynthia inherits a sword that, according to a bizarre letter written by her dead grandfather, is a relic that proves the South actually won the Civil War. Cynthia and her partner Mary take the sword to a pawn shop where the owner and his wastoid employee determine that the sword would be worth a lot of money to right-wing conspiracy nuts. Pretty soon, the four are teaming up to sell the sword to a group of questionable men, and questioning their own intentions in doing so. Sword of Trust (2019)

Paw Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue

Roll with the Paw Patrol as everybody’s favorite heroic pups race to the rescue on the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race. When Mayor Goodway goes missing, Chase, Marshall, Skye, and the rest of the Paw Patrol will need to team up with Ryder to save Adventure Bay’s mayor and stop Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger from winning the race. Paw Patrol Live! BeerFest 2019: Ferris Brewer’s Day Off

Tampa Theatre
Celebrate Ferris Brewer’s Day Off with an evening of craft beers and local brewers, plus snacks and samples from some of the city’s top independent restaurants. Though the theme may be silly, BeerFest’s purpose is most serious: the annual event benefits the historic landmark’s artistic, educational, and community programs, as well as its ongoing preservation. The Wizard of Oz (1939)

The Wizard of Oz has permeated popular culture to such an extent that, even if they haven’t seen it themselves, most people know it almost by heart. It’s certainly true that they don’t make them like this anymore! Before the film, pose for a free 4×6″ souvenir photo with Dorothy in the lobby. Immediately after the screening, University of Tampa Professor of Film, Animation and New Media, Dana Plays, will lead a short discussion and audience Q&A.
