Developer unveils new details on Heron, the first apartment tower set to open in Water Street Tampa

The twin towers near the Tampa Bay History Center, known previously as 815 Water Street, will be the first rental property to open in the mixed-use district. Heron includes 420 apartments and 40,000 square feet of street-level retail space, including a GreenWise Market.

The Straz Center returned to the stage this past Friday with an in-person performance on an outdoor stage. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare will be performed on the Riverwalk Stage on weekends through October 17.

Tampa's Downtown to have prominent role in this week's International Downtown Association (IDA) Annual Conference and Marketplace

The Tampa Downtown Partnership staff will host the closing reception of the virtual conference, titled Sunset Sip and Stroll on the Tampa Riverwalk, as well as a plenary presentation, roundtable, and speaker session. Registration is still open for the conference featuring experts in urban placemaking from around the world.
