TECO Line Streetcar celebrates 20th anniversary with milestone ridership

The TECO Line Streetcar celebrated a milestone anniversary this week, with the service spanning over two decades and over one million riders this year. “This area [near the Tampa Convention Center] was largely influenced by a landscape of industrial warehouses and parking lots,” said Abbey Dohring Ahern, chairwoman of Tampa Downtown Partnership. “Now you look around, and it’s glorious. Quitting time used to mean that the downtown workforce rolled up the sidewalks. Now they’re staying right here in our neighborhood.”

The Tampa EDITION opens five new concepts, including a coffee bar

Located on the ground floor and in the heart of the Water Street District, the coffee bar inside Market at EDITION serves as the gathering place for locals and guests alike. Start or end your day with a cup of La Colombe and a French pastry at the wraparound coffee bar or on the lush neighborhood terrace. The coffee bar is open from 7 am – 2 pm.

 

MARKET serves as a new downtown go-to destination for all-day dining whether it be a coffee and pastry in the morning, business lunch or Aperol spritz after work on the outdoor terrace on Water Street.
