Winter Village returns for the holiday season with new features and an updated website

Winter Village returns to Tampa’s Downtown for the holiday season this month. Opening November 19th, Winter Village features a real ice rink under the palms at Curtis Hixon Park, local shops, festive treats, and holiday lights. Returning this year is the Winter Village Express on the TECO Line Streetcar every Sunday. Stay tuned for more details about new features, including activations at The Square at Lykes Gaslight Park!

The Partnership wins 2021 Florida Redevelopment Association Award

The Partnership recently won a 2021 Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA) Award for its work on the Franklin Street study in the Large Community category. The Partnership shares the Planning Studies award with Stantec and the City of Tampa CRA.

Save The Date: Veterans Day Ceremony set to be held in Downtown on Thursday!

Please join CRISP at MacDill Park and the City of Tampa to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. The event will take place at the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument at MacDill Park off the Riverwalk in downtown Tampa located at 100 N. Ashley Drive.

Michael Maurino and the Partnership's very own, Karen Kress, re-appointed to Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission

Tampa Downtown Partnership Director of Transportation and Planning, Karen Kress AICP, was re-appointed by Tampa City Council to represent the City of Tampa on the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission. It is her second four-year term.

Tampa Museum of Art Announces $68 Million Expansion Following Significant Renovation

The Tampa Museum of Art announced a transformative expansion plan for its downtown Tampa campus this morning that will add a crystalline, four-story structure to the waterfront, significantly enhancing the visitor experience and expanding the Museum’s education and event spaces.
