Up to Speed: Alternative transit options becoming more popular in Tampa Bay

Things like the Cross Bay Ferry or the TECO Line Streetcar are breaking records for ridership, with the streetcar on track for 1.1 million rides in FY22.

Take a sneak peek at Asher, Water Street Tampa's newest residential property

New residents have started moving into Asher, the latest residential tower to open at Water Street, which adds 490 new upscale units to the rip-roaring Downtown Tampa real estate market. Billed as the most affordable of Water Street’s towers, Asher offers 386-square-foot studio apartments starting at more than $2,000 per month.

Downtown Tampa apartment tower sells for $184 million to Goldman Sachs

A Downtown Tampa apartment tower has sold for $184 million — just two years after it sold for $120 million. The Nine15 apartments at 915 Franklin St. were sold on May 6 to a limited liability corporation owned by investment giants Goldman Sachs.

 

The 23-story, 362-unit building opened in 2017 and has studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments starting at 572 square feet.
