The Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Hotel opens in Tampa's Downtown

The 17-story dual-flag hotel is located at 405 E. Kennedy Blvd. and houses 345 rooms. The hotel also includes 3,600 square feet of meeting and event space and 3,200 square feet of street-level retail space.

The Glazer Children's Museum is looking for a new daily café and/or food vendor

The Museum intends to maintain a non-exclusive relationship with a qualified, licensed business to provide café-style, kid-friendly food service with seating on the first floor of the Museum in a publicly accessible area of the lobby.

City of Tampa proposing to sell Tampa Police headquarters Downtown

A prime piece of downtown real estate may soon hit the market. 411 N Franklin St., home to the Tampa Police Department Headquarters, may be put up for sale, according to City officials.

 

“That building is in need of such repairs that the millions of dollars that it would cost to repair it, it’s not economically feasible,” said Sal Ruggiero, Deputy Administrator of Infrastructure Services. “It’s better to go to a new structure.”
