New murals bring unity and color to Downtown Tampa streets

Tampa’s Downtown was filled with artists and volunteers on Saturday to support the City of Tampa’s Art on the Block initiative for unity and safety. “Intersection murals are effective tools for improving street safety, enhancing the livability of our streets, revitalizing public spaces, and bringing communities together.” said Mayor Jane Castor

Partnership launches Summer Series in Curtis Hixon Park for safe summer play

The Partnership has launched Summer Series in Curtis Hixon Park with over 12,000 square feet of shade, seating, and local vendor Whatever Pops! Encouraging safe play without touch, the Partnership commissioned a ground mural for children to hop, skip, and jump on nautical elements. OAI installed the mural using Surface Shield, an antimicrobial surface treatment. Stay tuned for more information about this cool project!
