Mayor Jane Castor's Boom by the Bay was a blast!

Mayor Jane Castor’s Boom by the Bay, powered by TECO was a booming success! We celebrated America’s birthday with a Pickleball Tournament, an Apple Pie Throwdown, live art, food vendors, and live entertainment from talented local acts. Huge congratulations to the winners of the Pickleball Tournament and Apple Pie Throwdown!

We would also like to extend a massive thank you to our gracious sponsors and community partners! Without their support, America’s birthday wouldn’t have sparkled as bright as it did!

Calling all artists! Our request for proposal for our Public Art Mural Identity Project closes Wednesday!

We’re seeking creative proposals for murals in each of Downtown’s seven unique neighborhoods.

This initiative aims to boost cultural vibrancy and aesthetic appeal, celebrating the distinctive character of each area. Contribute to community identity and engage residents and visitors alike! Artists can submit proposals for multiple neighborhoods but will only be selected for one. Let’s make Tampa’s Downtown even more beautiful together!
