Free activities, shade under big tent at Curtis Hixon Park

The Partnership has launched Summer Series in Curtis Hixon Park with over 10,000 square feet of shade, seating, and local vendor Whatever Pops! Encouraging safe play without touch, the Partnership commissioned a ground mural for children to hop, skip, and jump on nautical elements. OAI installed the mural using Surface Shield, an antimicrobial surface treatment.

Special Services District (SSD) Community Meetings

As part of the Downtown Special Services District renewal process, the Partnership will be holding three community meetings in July prior to the Public Hearing before Tampa City Council next month. This year the meetings will be held via Zoom and will cover the SSD FY21 Workplans and Budget.

Phase III of City of Tampa relief grant launched last Friday

Tampa Small Business Owners: Applications for Phase III of One Tampa business relief are now open. Approximately 400 grants of $2,000 will be awarded to critically impacted City of Tampa businesses that previously did not qualify for aid.

ICYMI: Developer unveils new design for former Riverwalk Place tower

The developer of the former Riverwalk Place project unveiled new renderings and plans for the site, including a 37-floor condo and hotel with a café and open-air gourmet restaurant on the ground floor along the Tampa Riverwalk. The developer, Two Roads, shared that tower will be home to 222 hotel rooms and 230 hotel-branded condominiums.
