Breaking News: Manor Riverwalk sold to Denver firm for over $200 million

Tampa Bay Bussiness Journal reports that Manor Riverwalk, the luxury apartment community built on the site of the former Tampa Tribune, has sold to a Denver investment firm in a record-breaking deal.

 

An entity linked to Denver-based Ares Real Estate Income Trust paid $225 million for the 400-unit Manor Riverwalk in a deal that closed Dec. 28, according to Hillsborough County property records. Miami’s Related Group, the property’s original developer, was the seller.

Downtown Tampa based music distribution firm secures $37M funding deal

Symphonic Distribution, a Downtown Tampa-based music distribution firm, has closed a $37 funding deal. The company, which was founded in 2006 by Jorge Brea, is a software as a service company that provides distribution services for musicians to companies such as Apple Music and Spotify.

 

Symphonic Distribution is also a partner of Rock the Park and the Partnership’s Downtown-themed Spotify playlists.

New year, new mural. Tampa Downtown Partnership's new office shows its love of Downtown

The offices of the Tampa Downtown Partnership are brighter with the debut of a new mural by local artist Juan Pablo Parra of CAPco. The mural uses elements of Tampa’s Downtown such as water, palm trees, the street grid, and bright colors to show our Downtown pride.

Congratulations, events coordinator Ivy Lucpo on new endeavor

Please join us in wishing our events coordinator, Ivy Lupco, all the best as she begins a new endeavor and the next step in her career. Ivy joined the Partnership in May 2018 and elevated our events to a new level with her creativity and collaboration. She will be missed and we wish her the very best in her new position. Ivy’s last day with the Partnership will be Friday, January 7. A job posting to fill the position will be posted soon.
