Happy New Year from the Tampa Downtown Partnership!

The Tampa Downtown Partnership wishes you a Happy New Year as we say goodbye to 2021 and welcome in 2022. The Partnership’s offices will be closed on December 30th at 12pm and on December 31st in observance of the New Year’s holiday.

Enjoy extended and holiday hours at Winter Village before it closes January 2nd!

Winter Village is open during the school winter break with extended hours with fun activities for the whole family. Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park is also open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Westshore Alliance names new Executive Director for 2022

The Westshore Alliance has named former transportation planner Michael Maurino as its new Executive Director.

 

He will start on Jan. 1, 2022, as his predecessor, Ann Kulig, transitions into retirement. Congratulations Michael!

Kim Puleo, owner of the office building at 1205 Franklin Street, put up thousands of lights on Franklin Street in Tampa’s Downtown.

 

“I just wanted to bring some happiness back,” she said. “Christmas lights felt like a good way to do it.”
