People are leaving these major US cities to come to Tampa

It’s no secret that Tampa and the rest of Florida have been more desirable for new residents in recent years, but where have they been coming from in recent months?

 

According to Redfin, 2% of American homebuyers looked to Tampa as a place to make a new home from September 2022 to November 2022.

Kosher restaurant, Grill Express, opening in Tampa's Downtown

A 100% Kosher restaurant is opening soon on Franklin Street.

 

The Grill Express team is dedicated to preparing delicious, authentic, and fresh food for its future customers. “With just a little taste of our carefully crafted dishes, you will be transported on a journey to the middle east,” write the owners on the restaurant’s Instagram page.

Come donate a children's book for our Storybook Christmas theme night Tuesday!

Tuesday night the Tampa Downtown Partnership will be collecting children’s book donations to be given to a local library. Come bring a book or two and help us give back this holiday season!

Winter Village Shops vendor Plante La Vie helps locals gift plants with green thumb confidence

“Groovy plants guaranteed,” Plante La Vie, a Tampa plant business, has a distinct retro-hippie feel. They operate from an awning-covered outdoor retail space off MacDill Avenue and a 1967 retro camper-turned-mobile-greenhouse named Flora, which they trailer around town. Through January, they’re selling plants from one of the pop-up shops in Downtown Tampa’s Winter Village by the ice rink at Curtis Hixon Park. Begonias to peperomia, their wares generally range from $5 to $65.
