Tampa Downtown Partnership members, Buchanan Ingersol & Rooney, are hosting former Governor Jeb Bush, Florida Speaker-designate Chris Sprowls, and former U.S. Representative Tom Rooney to virtually present about pressing issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic regarding education at all levels in Florida. A piece of glass, signed by Lightning fans as a part of the “Be The Distant Thunder” campaign, has been installed at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The campaign also had several Lightning players sign a separate piece of glass as a tribute to health care workers and other frontline staff working during the pandemic. That player-signed glass was installed as a safety barrier at the emergency room front desk at AdventHealth in Tampa.
