Tampa's Downtown "strong" according to national report

The report by the International Downtown Association (IDA) concludes that emerging downtowns like Tampa have plenty of potential, with the relatively low property values costs compared to other urban places. That allows developers to get much greater return for their investment dollar.

City of Tampa looking for community input to inform the Resilient Tampa Roadmap

This survey will help the city identify what areas of focus matter most to the community. From environmental threats to challenges in social equity, economic opportunities, infrastructure, health, and more. The Roadmap will also identify actions that will be incorporated in the proposed FY21 Climate Action & Equity Plan.

Bus rapid transit system for Downtown Tampa and USF area advances to next phase

The project is meant to connect Tampa’s university corridor and Downtown. It will also link with other systems like the TECO Line Streetcar and HART’s existing stations.
