Downtown Development Forum speaker line-up and topics announced!

Join us this week for the first-ever virtual Downtown Development Forum, The State of Tampa’s Downtown! This forum will take place over three days on April 7th – 9th, with experts and representatives from Water Street Tampa, Midtown, Tampa Housing Authority, Hyde Park Village, Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority, Brightline, City of Tampa, and more!

 

The results of the Partnership’s 2020 Downtown Worker and Resident Survey will be released during the forum, as well as Tampa’s rank in the International Downtown Association’s Value of Downtowns report.

 

Hear from keynote speaker, Larisa Ortiz, an expert of retail real estate, on how to plan for retail experiences in Downtown districts.

Downtown Dollar returns this Wednesday with two Downtown locations

Join us this Wednesday for our Downtown stimulus program, the Downtown Dollar!

 

This program will be held the first Wednesday of every month in Lykes Gaslight Square Park from 11:30am-1:30pm. However, this month as an added bonus, vouchers can also be picked up at Rivergate Tower (400 N Ashley Drive, Tampa, FL 33602)

 

Between those hours, you can pickup a Downtown Dollar voucher for $10 to be used on Wednesday, April 7th and Thursday, April 8th at any of our participating Downtown businesses.

Tampa office vacancies could see a turnaround in the future

“I believe, right now, we are very active in responding to proposals and requests for information on vacancies, which is encouraging,” Executive Managing Director Bill Reeves of Colliers International said. “I believe that we will, within the next 12 months, be back to a pre-COVID level of vacancy rates.”
