Expressway authority eyes its Downtown Tampa real estate

“THEA controls several acres of land adjacent to Meridian Avenue and the original Ardent Mills flour mill. With the exciting redevelopment coming due to the mill relocating, THEA is undertaking a study to determine the best use of its property assets within the Downtown core,” the authority said in a statement.

Miami developer partners with Israeli group on long-awaited apartments near Straz in Tampa's Downtown

The AER tower, first proposed in 2013, will stand 33 stories and include 311 units. It’s near the David A. Straz Jr. Center for Performing Arts, on a parcel of land that was created by reconfiguring the intersection of Tyler and McInnes streets.

On Sunday, May 1st, visit the Multicultural Family Day event from 1-6pm in Water Works Park in Tampa Heights. Multicultural Family Day is an international celebration of the colors of the world with cultures represented in food, music, dance, and storytelling.

Lynn Hurtak sworn in as interim Tampa City Council member

Hurtak is a former member of the Charter Review Commission and currently sits on the Tampa Variance Review Board. She beat out 22 other candidates for the seat and received four council votes.
