The show features magic, mirth and more than a touch of mayhem as these two hot and hilarious Aussie magicians say “abracadabra” and take magic to a whole new level. Other Words Literary Conference

University of Tampa – Vaughn Center
Organized by the Florida Literary Arts Coalition and sponsored by UT, the goal of the conference is to bring together writers, editors, agents, publishers, book sellers, grant administrators, directors of writers’ colonies and retreats, and others to talk about the how to of literary arts: how to write it, make it, sell it, fund it and nurture it. Celebrate all weekend with German cheer, dancing, and toasting to cooler weather and colder beer along the Hillsborough River. This event is a time to unwind, make new friends, learn new customs, and sing a few songs. Haunted River Tours

Tampa Convention Center
Completely revamped for 2018, hop aboard the Pirate Water Taxi for a frighteningly good time on the water. Gather your friends and family for an entertaining evening with tales of ghosts along the Hillsborough River. Each tour will be led by a dead-lightful docent who will tell spooky stories of Tampa’s past. Haunted River Tours

Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival

Since 1990 TIGLFF has been held at the historic Tampa Theatre. What makes TIGLFF even more special is the street space and plaza out front are closed for tables, tents, vendors and music, giving the festival community a place to gather and celebrate films, community and the refreshing October weather. This work from Abby Mann reenacts one of the most important trials in modern history. Ernest Janning, one of the most influential German legal minds of the pre-war era, and other influential Nazis face a military tribunal in the second wave of post war trials at Nuremberg. 2nd Annual Pregnancy Infant Loss Remembrance Family Walk

Step back in time and enjoy the single-character performances that bring turn-of-the-century Tampa Bay Hotel staff members and guests to life. Each character is based on actual hotel staff and guests. Tampa Riverwalk Trick or Treat
Saturday, October 27
Tampa Riverwalk
Kids in costume along with their families are invited to Trick or Treat along the Riverwalk as part of this FREE community event. Stations are hosted by local businesses and organizations that will be handing out candy and treats to children in costume. At the conclusion of the event, there will be a free family-friendly Halloween movie in Water Works park hosted by Friends of Tampa Recreation! Tampa Riverwalk Trick or Treat
