He is best known for his three Netflix specials, Disgraceful (2018), Mostly Stories (2016), and Completely Normal (2014). Additionally, his hit podcast Your Mom’s House which he co-hosts with his wife, comedian Christina Pazsitzky, was a finalist for Best Comedy Podcast at the Stitcher Awards and profiled by VICE. In 2006, Hillsborough Community College met the goal of reflecting the county’s population distribution in its student enrollment. However, the institution still faced the challenge of a lack of student success in retention and graduation for all students and in particular African American and Latino males. The goals of this summit are to provide information about successful strategies, explore mentoring programs that enable the success of young men, and to provide the latest research of the methods higher education institutions can employ to increase access, persistence, and retention and graduation rates. Blake Shelton: Friends and Heroes Tour

Sing-Along Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)

Based on the true story of world-famous rock band Queen’s journey from their humble beginnings to their now-legendary 1985 performance at the Live Aid concert in Wembley Stadium, Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. The film will be presented in a form you may not have experienced yet: as a sing-along! Step back in time and enjoy the single-character performances that bring turn-of-the-century Tampa Bay Hotel staff members and guests to life. Each character is based on actual hotel staff and guests. From the reminiscences of Henry Plant himself to the letters of a Spanish-American War soldier, you will learn more about the time period through each character’s particular vantage point. CatVideoFest 2019

A curated compilation reel of the latest, best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and, of course, classic internet meme powerhouses. You’ll see favorites you love and be introduced to new favorites that you’ve never seen before. And for the first time ever, you’ll be seeing them in a movie theatre. Best of all, Tampa Theatre will be donating 10% of ticket proceeds to kitties in need at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. It’s the feel-good feline event of the year! CatVideoFest 2019

8th Annual Mayor’s River O’ Green
Saturday, March 16
Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
This Irish-themed party is centered around the Hillsborough River, which will be transformed into a bright shade of green for the occasion. The river provides a perfect backdrop to the celebration which includes live entertainment, games, kids activities, food trucks, and of course, beer! The festivities include the River O’ Green Gallop, a fun run/walk along the Riverwalk, and continue with a family scavenger hunt, a Leprechaun costume contest, and the Shamrock Scavenger Crawl for adults.
