Bats Meet ‘N Greet With Tampa Bay Bats

Become an animal expert with Tampa Bay Bats as they host an educational meet and greet with bats, eeek! Host, Francine Prager, will discuss species of bats from all over the world and how they use echolocation. This will be followed by a question and answer portion and the showing of live bats! It’s been only 12 years since the great tenor Luciano Pavarotti died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 70. Since that time, the landscape of music, and of music marketing has changed drastically. This new documentary by filmmaker Ron Howard features never-before-seen footage, concert performances and intimate interviews examining the life and career of a towering cultural figure. In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920’s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the MC’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, the show explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Warrior Games Opening Ceremony feat. Hunter Hayes

The entire Tampa Bay community is invited to come out and be a part of history as Tampa Bay welcomes the 2019 Department of Defense (DoD) Warrior Games for the first time. In addition to celebrating the start of the DOD Warrior Games, witness the lighting of the official cauldron and introductions of over 300 athletes, representing service teams from the United States and five allied countries. Step back in time and enjoy the single-character performances that bring turn-of-the-century Tampa Bay Hotel staff members and guests to life. Each character is based on actual hotel staff and guests.
