The play weaves together excerpts from discussions with parents, survivors, journals, and community leaders in Littleton as well as police evidence to present this riveting docu-drama. Arts Legacy REMIX: MLK Praise

A celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s inspiring words among many cultures, peoples, backgrounds and art forms. In partnership with the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival, the Straz Center presents this vibrant, performance-centered event of music, dance and theater free to the public and welcoming of everyone. Hear traditional gospel choirs, Scottish bagpipes, and more as Indian dancers and local contemporary dancers collaborate for a joyous, moving, and liberating celebration of Dr. King’s poetic, prophetic vision for equity, harmony, mutual love and respect and solutions for a better world in the conflicts of today. Rotary Club of Tampa Gasparilla Bash

This inclusive pirate costume party will feature live music from local favorite The Black Honkeys, as well as generous hors d’oeuvres provided by food partners.
