Women in America Today

Come to this gathering if you’re concerned about your rights as a woman, want to network, and learn how to take action! The Florida Orchestra – Cheers!

Cruise through Downtown Tampa on the water and enjoy the beautiful sights of the holiday season. Pass beneath the lighted bridges to enter Hillsborough River for a one-of-a-kind tour. Enjoy a whimsical narration on the first half of the cruise and then join in with Christmas Carolers while sipping on hot chocolate and nibbling on a delicious holiday cookie. Holiday Music Concert
Begins 7pm
Straz Center for the Performing Arts
The Patel Conservatory’s music department will ring in the holiday cheer as they perform some of the holiday season’s greatest hits. Ensembles performing will include the Conservatory’s seven vocal arts choral ensembles, Suzuki and string chamber ensembles, and the jazz ensemble. A sing-along with the audience at the concert’s culmination followed by post concert holiday treats will complete the evening. Holiday Music Concert

Harlem Globetrotters

“Kiss and Tell” by Wolfgang Flad

Tampa Museum of Art
This exhibit consists of some 30 individual wooden elements hanging from a grid. Each element has been coated with different types of paint and varnish, as well as with papier-mâché made from various art-focused papers. In this way Flad tries to bring the material back into organic shapes and structures reminiscent of the trees and other plants from which such materials first originate. “Kiss and Tell” by Wolfgang Flad
