Happy Hour Concert: Fiesta!
Begins 6:30pm
Straz Center for the Performing Arts
A concert with Latin flair, including music from Astor Piazzolla and more. Jeff Tyzik will conduct. Enjoy the spirited mix of live symphonic music, free drinks and snacks, and a meet-and-greet with TFO musicians. Complimentary beverages include Cigar City beer and Tito’s Handmade Vodka drinks. This high-octane musical includes every song from Green Day’s Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum album. Johnny, Tunny and Will struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world. When the three disgruntled men flee the constraints of their hometown for the thrills of city life, their paths are quickly estranged when Tunny enters the armed forces, Will is called back home to attend to familial responsibilities, and Johnny’s attention becomes divided by a seductive love interest and a hazardous new friendship. Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live

An experiential production that takes audiences on a prehistoric journey into a new dimension, where they get to meet a menagerie of insects, mammals, and dinosaurs that roamed the planet millions of years ago. Featuring a large-scale cast of life-sized dinosaur puppets brought to life by sophisticated design, theatrical presentation, and puppet mastery, these amazingly life-like dinosaur recreations connect children to paleontology in a fun and informative setting. But one young man refuses to let go of his lost, beloved pet and makes a pilgrimage to the new Isle of Dogs. Can he fight the power of an entire government to reunite with his friend? Sykes Chapel Concert Artist Series – The Philadelphia Brass

University of Tampa – Sykes Chapel
This ensemble was founded in 1988 by professional musicians in Eastern Pennsylvania to pursue goals of performing the best brass quintet literature of all periods and styles. The Philadelphia Brass has since gone on to commission and perform important premieres of new works and has collaborated with other musicians and ensembles in numerous concerts and recordings.
