Alex Carson serves as the Public Space Engagement & Programming Coordinator for the Tampa Downtown Partnership. In her role, she coordinates and implements neighborhood programming and community activation initiatives as well as plays an active role in the enhancement of Tampa’s public realm. She aims to enhance the vibrancy in each of Tampa’s neighborhood communities and amplify their unique personalities.

 

Alex is a 2025 graduate of the University of Tampa with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Environmental Studies & Psychology. In her time at UTampa, she was a member of the President’s Leadership Fellows as well as the Collegiate Leadership Program with the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. She also served four years on the executive team for the UTampa Environmental Protection Coalition where she co-founded the Sustainable Spartan Market and worked to create a more beautiful and sustainable campus environment.

 

In addition to her love for community outreach, Alex is incredibly passionate about sustainability.  One of her many goals in working with Tampa’s Downtown Partnership is to leave Tampa’s neighborhoods cleaner, greener, and more connected than they were before she found them.
