In an interview with the Tampa Bay Times, 717 Parking co-owner Jason Accardi said hist team is exploring plans to convert a lot at 223 N. 12th St. into a high-density development with housing, retail and possibly a hotel.

Contribute to a Holiday “Thank You” Bag! We want to show our appreciation to the 50 dedicated team members at the Annual Holiday Employee Recognition Luncheon on December 12th, 2025, by giving each person a special “Thank You” bag.
We are seeking donations to fill these bags! Ideas include:
– Hotel stays, food/beverage coupons.
– Admission tickets to local attractions/events.
– Company swag or small gift items.
– Handwritten thank-you letters are also deeply appreciated!
Can’t supply 50 items? A smaller donation can be used as a door prize!

Both the city of Tampa and the city of St.Petersburg voted to approve their part of an agreement that would secure a new cross bay ferry last Thursday.
Tampa approved a five-year inter-local agreement, including up to $350,000 a year in funding for the new ferry.
