A major mixed-use development is moving forward along the west bank of the Hillsborough River in Tampa’s Downtown this week. Related Group is set to break ground on Manor Riverwalk this Wednesday, June 17. The 24-story residential tower is set to bring new housing, retail space, and public amenities to Downtown’s vibrant and prominent waterfront.
Located on South Parker Street and West Kennedy Boulevard, the broader vision includes pedestrian-friendly streetscapes, waterfront amenities, and improved connections between Downtown destinations, the University of Tampa, Hyde Park, and the Riverwalk. As one of the largest development projects currently planned along the riverfront, Manor Riverwalk represents another significant investment in Downtown’s continued growth as a walkable, connected urban destination.

Join the Tampa Downtown Partnership on June 18 for a special Coffee with the Chairman at the Tampa Firefighters’ Museum. This engaging morning event will bring together Downtown stakeholders, community leaders, and partners for networking and conversation centered on the future of Tampa’s Downtown.
The program will feature a fireside chat with Partnership Chairman Jeff Houck and President & CEO Kenyetta Hairston-Bridges, who will share insights on Downtown’s momentum, emerging opportunities, and the vision guiding its continued growth.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals and community leaders over coffee. The event runs from 8:00am to 9:30am. Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.

A familiar favorite is putting down roots in Tampa’s Downtown. Tampa Bay-based Engrained Apparel is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location at Sparkman Wharf this summer, marking an exciting milestone for the locally owned brand known for its Tampa-inspired apparel and designs.
Following a successful run at Nimble at Spark Square, Engrained Apparel will make Water Street its permanent home, offering a collection of locally designed t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and accessories that celebrate the spirit of Downtown and Tampa Bay. The location will open near Hampton Chocolate Factory.
A well-known name in the Tampa Bay craft beer scene has officially opened doors in Tampa’s Downtown. Green Bench Brewing Co., a longtime favorite in St. Petersburg, has opened a new taproom at 200 N. Tampa Street, bringing its acclaimed lineup of craft beers to the urban core.
The new location offers a mix of Green Bench classics alongside specialty beers previously available only at the brewery’s St. Petersburg taproom. Guests can also enjoy a menu of casual fare, including grilled cheese sandwiches, Bavarian pretzels, wings, and shareable snacks.
The Placemaking Manager is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for planning, managing, and advancing Downtown Tampa’s placemaking, activation, and public-realm initiatives. This position oversees program development and execution while managing staff, partnerships, and resources to ensure a cohesive, inclusive and high-quality Downtown experience.

DASH Driver Ambassadors ensure efficient transportation of individuals between 20+ designated DASH hubs within the Special Services District (SSD) of Tampa’s Downtown while being a friendly and inviting ambassador of Downtown. Driver Ambassadors operate a company-provided four-door EV and utilize app-based software to receive and accept ride requests, navigate hub locations, and track rides.
