Last week, the Board of Directors for Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) unanimously voted to make Hubbard’s Marina the new operator for the ferry service between Tampa and St. Petersburg.
The ferry service—renamed the Tampa Bay Ferry—is expected to begin in 2026; a purchase on a larger capacity ferry vessel was also contingently approved.
