The University of Tampa will welcome pianist Jóse López for a concert in the Sykes Chapel and Center for Faith and Values. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The program includes works by Franz Schubert, Franz Liszt and operatic transcriptions and works by Nicolás Ruíz Espadero. López has performed throughout the United States, Italy, and Central and South America as a recitalist and chamber musician. A versatile pianist and enthusiastic performer of chamber music, López is an associate professor and coordinator of the keyboard studies program at Florida International University, and also serves as the president of the South Florida Chapter of the American Liszt Society.
