The Table in the Park

“The Table in the Park” is a unique outdoor dinner in our beautiful Curtis Hixon Riverwalk Park!

Long, family style tables will be elegantly set in Curtis Hixon Park, for guests to enjoy their dining experience!

The dinner will support “EXCEL” (Excellence in Computer Education and Learning) MacDonald Training Center’s innovative, new job training program in technology for young people on the autism spectrum. This new program is critically needed as it has been designed to meet the skills and interests of young adults on the autism spectrum, many of whom have the capabilities and affinities for a career in technology.

MacDonald Training Center is collaborating with the City of Tampa, and the Tampa Downtown Partnership to present “The Table in the Park”—a pre-Thanksgiving, community dinner on November 18 in Curtis Hixon Park to raise awareness and funding for the new initiative.

The “Table in the Park” is part of the opening of the annual Holiday events including the Ice Rink, and Winter Park Village pop up shops in Curtis Hixon Park.

Following the dinner there will be a free outdoor movie provided by Tampa Theatre.

The festive dinner includes appetizer, entree and dessert. Craft beer and wine paired with dinner. Cash bar.
