The City of Tampa Black History Committee invites you acknowledge Tampa’s rich history and culture. The 36th Annual City of Tampa Black History Celebration takes place at the Tampa Convention Center at 11am on Friday, February 16. This event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will shine a spotlight on organizations and community members who protect and illuminate revered family traditions. Kiva Williams of Mahogany Kids Fine Arts Foundation will deliver the keynote address.

Tampa’s Black History Celebration is sponsored by TECO, Busch Gardens, and the City of Tampa.
