Event: Comedy

Daniel Sloss

28 April
Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss creates comedy about topics most people discuss only under duress, death, disease and violence among them. He jokes about being called a sociopath but in truth there’s a great deal of humanity in the way he finds humor in, or at least in proximity to, horrific situations. You might be shocked, but you’ll almost assuredly be laughing.

Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin’s take-no-prisoners comedy has earned her a large and devoted following, and plenty of detractors as well. That’s to be expected. She delights in skewering the foibles and hypocrisy of public figures, be they celebrities or politicians. Do not bring the children. Do not repeat her jokes at work. But definitely make plans to see her live and enjoy an evening of outraged and outrageous hilarity.
