Music Theater Production Camp

4th– 8th grade Class length: 9 AM – 4 PM July 28 – August 8 Location: Stageworks Theatre Tuition: $600/two weeks Led by Trisha Stever, this high-energy, two-week experience is designed for students passionate about singing, dancing, and acting. Campers will spend most days immersed in musical theatre, learning exciting choreography, singing powerful songs, and rehearsing for a show that they will bring to life. With a focus on performance skills, students will work to build an original production, where each camper will be featured in a short monologue as part of the ensemble. Through daily rehearsal sessions, campers will hone their vocal technique, improve their dance moves, and develop their acting abilities. The production will reflect the unique talents and contributions of each student, with tailored scenes to showcase each camper’s strength. At the end of the camp, family and friends will be invited to a performance where students take the stage and show off their hard work in a polished, fun-filled production. This camp is a fantastic opportunity for young performers to grow their skills, build confidence, and experience the thrill of creating and performing in a theatrical production from start to finish.

Dog Man: The Musical

Comic book creators George and Harold have reached fifth grade and are ready for a challenge: making a musical based on one of their characters, Dog Man, a part-human, part-canine crime fighter. No problem, right? No. There are problems, all right, and that’s what fuels this charming stage adaptation of the popular children’s book series, which is itself a spin-off of Captain Underpants, all from the mind and pen of author Dav Pilkey.
