Gasparilla International Film Festival

A cultural arts institution that inspires, educates, and entertains Tampa Bay’s diverse population through an annual celebration of film, year-round events, and community outreach. Tampa Theatre will host the Opening Night Reception, screening of Burn Your Maps, and Opening Night After Party. Gasparilla International Film Festival.

Burn Your Maps

Tampa Theatre
The opening film of the Suncoast Credit Union Gasparilla International Film Festival. A cross-cultural comedic drama about an eight-year old American boy who declares to his parents that he is actually a Mongolian goat herder, born in the wrong place. When he meets a similarly displaced Indian filmmaker, they journey east, seeking what they believe to be their true place in the world. Director John Roberts will be in attendance. Burn Your Maps.

Masterworks Choral Concert

Join us this week for our “Amble to the Arena” walking tour featuring Amalie Arena. Tours remain free; however, a suggested donation of $5.00 is appreciated to help feed a hungry child in our community. 100% of the proceeds will directly benefit programs of Where Love Grows. Do the Local Motion.

UT Track Invite

The University of Tampa
This annual invite will include a number of colleges and universities from across the state of Florida. The event will feature predominantly distance events, with a small number of sprints and hurdles, along with relay races. UT Track Invite.

Taj Express: The Bollywood Musical Revue

This evening explodes with the sounds of India, capturing the vibrant, expressive spirit of the world of Bollywood movies that have been entertaining billions of people for generations. Amos Lee

The Dali Experience – The Florida Orchestra
