This comedic turn on the classic folktale features Cenerentola, who finds herself in disguise at a palace ball after falling in love-at-first-sight with the Prince’s valet. But the night has many twists in store for Cenerentola when she discovers she’s not the only one at the party in disguise – and not the only one madly in love. This performance is sung in Italian with English translations projected above the stage. Cinderella (La Cenerentola).

A grizzled news anchor finds out he will be relieved of his duties. After threatening to shoot himself on live television, he launches into a furious televised tirade, which in turn boosts ratings for the network. This stunt gives the network producer a chance to launch even more outrageous programming, but she takes it to a worrisome extreme. Network.

Gasparilla Festival of the Arts

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
Held annually during the first weekend in March in downtown Tampa, it is a true showcase. Featured art includes ceramic, digital, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor and wood.
