The Downtown Transportation Committee examines transportation-related issues and projects affecting Downtown’s workforce, residents and visitors. The group advocates for effective, safe, and reliable multi-modal transportation options to and within Downtown. This committee meets bi-monthly and serves as a forum for an industry/agency information exchange and to discuss relevant projects and initiatives.

The Public Art Committee exists to cultivate a thriving arts ecosystem in Tampa’s Downtown by collaborating with and supporting other art institutions. We strive to enhance the cultural landscape by fostering partnerships, promoting cross-disciplinary collaborations, and facilitating dialogue between artists, organizations, and the community. Through our efforts, we aim to create a vibrant and interconnected network of artistic endeavors, enriching the downtown experience and positioning Tampa as a destination for arts and culture.

The Downtown Planning & Development Committee represents a broad base of public and private interests. Committee members review conditions, industry best practices, proposed development, and studies to address issues that impact Downtown’s future success and livability. The group makes recommendations to help guide the Tampa Downtown Partnerships’ efforts to foster sustainable urban growth.

The Policy & Advocacy Committee provides a voice for members and stakeholders of Downtown Tampa in economic, legislative and policy issues that impact the community and economic development. The role of the committee is to be a liaison for our business community with local, state and federal officials and various government entities.

The Downtown Membership Engagement Committee is responsible for supporting and identifying opportunities for potential member recruitment and current member retention efforts. The committee members act as liaisons to encourage participation in the Tampa Downtown Partnership and membership events. The SSD Advisory Committee is a diverse group of Downtown stakeholders selected to act as a sounding board for Tampa Downtown Partnership initiatives. This group of professionals and community leaders focuses on matters related to urban planning, economic growth, beautification, transportation, and facilitates the Partnerships two grant programs. Through collaborative efforts and strategic insights, the committee aims to foster a vibrant and inclusive urban environment that fosters economic prosperity and enriches the quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
