Jaylyn Andrews serves as the Public Space Operations and Programming Coordinator for the Tampa Downtown Partnership. In her role, Jaylyn assists in facilitating the maintenance, beautification, and activation of public spaces in our Downtown through administrative tasks, vendor and partner coordination, database and inventory management, infrastructure and service acquisition and research, and logistical coordination of public space activation. Along with her love of community engagement, advocacy, and education, Jaylyn hopes to create meaningful experiences for Downtown’s residents, workers, and visitors and cultivate an everlasting work, play, and live atmosphere within our Downtown.

Jaylyn has been with the Partnership since 2021 but is originally from Leesburg, Florida, where she spent many years working and volunteering alongside various community partners in her hometown. After graduating from Leesburg High School in 2020, Jaylyn attended Lake-Sumter State College, where she obtained her Associate of Arts degree. She then moved to Tampa to continue her education at the University of South Florida, where she will graduate Summa Cum Laude in May of 2023 with her Bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in Sociology.
