Grayson Tummings serves as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator for the Tampa Downtown Partnership. In his role, Grayson is responsible for drafting and curating content for all of the Partnership’s digital channels, drafting internal written communications, as well as supporting the organization’s teams by promoting its departments’ initiatives.
Grayson has been with the Tampa Downtown Partnership since 2023. Prior to joining the Partnership, Grayson spent 2 years after his post-undergraduate studies in marketing and communications roles in the for-profit sector.
During this time, Grayson worked for a variety of companies including a technology company that provides software for federal government organizations, a tech company that provides software to for-profit corporations, a large brand-marketing agency, and a small-boutique style brand-marketing agency.
Due to his experience in various industry verticals with differing required responsibilities, Grayson evolved into a multi-faceted marketing talent that is proficient with photography, videography, graphic design, email marketing, and event planning.
Grayson graduated from Towson University with Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Communications with dual focus in Public Relations and Advertising. He relocated to Tampa from Maryland in 2022 and fell in love with the city the second he arrived.
My favorite thing to do Downtown is eat lunch by the Riverwalk in the River Arts District neighborhood. Enjoying a nice mid-day meal while admiring the serenity and calm of the riverside is one of my simple pleasures.
