The Tampa Riverwalk is poised for an exciting transformation, with new destinations that will make Downtown Tampa’s waterfront an even more vibrant place to gather, dine, stay, and explore. Pendry Tampa, Hotel Cala, LAVO, and BarOnda have recently unveiled renderings of their anticipated 2027 openings, bringing new hospitality and dining experiences to the Riverwalk.
The transformation will also include the Straz Center, which will add a bistro, grab-and-go concept, and fine-dining restaurant—perfect for a meal or drink before a show. Next door, the Tampa Museum of Art will expand with a restaurant featuring outdoor seating and a waterfront café, further connecting arts, dining, and public spaces along the Riverwalk.
