Music fans can look forward to an exciting night in Downtown as Tame Impala brings The Deadbeat Tour to Benchmark International Arena this Thursday, July 9, at 7 p.m. The highly anticipated stop will welcome concertgoers from across the region for an evening of psychedelic rock and indie favorites.
The sold-out concert will feature special guest Djo, adding to what promises to be one of the summer’s biggest live music events in Tampa’s Downtown. A limited number of resale tickets are still available online.

The FIFA World Cup fever continues in Tampa’s Downtown at Top Shelf Sports Lounge’s Watch Party USA vs Belgium tonight. Soccer fans are invited to join and enjoy more than 30 high-definition TVs throughout the venue and a lively game-day atmosphere.
In addition to the match, guests can enjoy game-day food and drink specials, including discounted beers, specialty margaritas, and limited-edition FIFA-themed cocktails. Reservations are encouraged, as seating is expected to fill quickly.

Water Street Tampa is bringing live music indoors with the return of Sounds of the Street, a monthly series that transforms an evening out into a live entertainment experience. Beginning this Thursday, July 9, participating restaurants throughout the neighborhood will host local musicians from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with additional performances scheduled for August 13 and September 10.
Guests can enjoy live music while dining, along with rotating artists throughout the evening. Whether you’re stopping by for dinner, drinks, or a night on the town, Sounds of the Street offers another great way to experience the energy and vibrancy of Tampa’s Downtown this summer.
The Tampa Downtown Partnership invites Downtown property owners, businesses, residents, and stakeholders to participate in a series of Community Meetings this July to learn more about the Downtown Special Services District (SSD) and the programs it supports. Attendees will hear how SSD assessments are invested in services that enhance Downtown, including cleanliness and maintenance, beautification, public space programming, business development, mobility, urban planning, and other initiatives that help create a vibrant urban core.
Meetings kick off next Tuesday, July 14. Additional dates are July 16 and July 20. Attendees can attend virtually at the first and third events. Each session will provide an overview of the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Work Plan and budget, while offering stakeholders an opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and help shape the future of Tampa’s Downtown.
DASH Driver Ambassadors ensure efficient transportation of individuals between 20+ designated DASH hubs within the Special Services District (SSD) of Tampa’s Downtown while being a friendly and inviting ambassador of Downtown. Driver Ambassadors operate a company-provided four-door EV and utilize app-based software to receive and accept ride requests, navigate hub locations, and track rides.
