Our President & CEO, Kenyetta Hairston-Bridges, recently sat down with Brian Kurtz, CEO of the San Jose Downtown Association, for an engaging fireside chat focused on the future of our communities.
The conversation explored timely topics including city safety, strategic planning, public spaces, and opportunities for continued growth and collaboration between the City of Tampa and San Jose.
The conversation was part of the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Study Mission to Tampa, where business and community leaders came together to learn from Tampa’s experiences and best practices.
This year is especially meaningful as boththe Tampa Downtown Partnership and San Jose Downtown Association celebrate their 40th anniversaries, marking four decades of connection, partnership, and shared growth.
Thank you to Brian Kurtz and the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce for choosing Tampa as your 2026 Study Mission destination. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone together and look forward to strengthening the Tampa–San Jose connection for years to come!
