River O’ Green, presented by Grow Financial, is set to return to Tampa’s Downtown March 18th. The annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park will feature live music, kids activities, food trucks, and of course, beer.

The TECO Line Streetcar connecting Downtown Tampa to Ybor City will offer more frequent weekend service beginning March 19th.
The trolley’s frequency will change from 15 minutes to 12 minutes Friday through Sunday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funding for the change comes partially from three of Tampa’s Community Development Areas, according to Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority spokesperson Frank Wyszynski. The Tampa Downtown Partnership also contributed $60,000.

Tampa philanthropist and real estate developer Dr. Kiran Patel has acquired two parcels in Encore, a master-planned community in Downtown Tampa. An entity linked to Patel paid $8.2 million for Lots 5 and 12 in Encore in a deal that closed in late January, according to Hillsborough County property records.
